Goalies

At Flex Hockey, we are committed to the goalie's just as much we are to the other players. We understand that the goalie's can often be overlooked in practices, be the hero of a game, miss a save to lose a game or stand on the outside of team huddle and understand the challenges that a lot of goalie's endure.

Flex Hockey has created a positive atmosphere for goalie's to enjoy spending time at the rink, playing the position they love and support their growth in/out of the crease.

During our Summer Hockey & Fall Development programs, we have instructors who have played the position & instructed young goaltenders. These instructors are on ice around 50% of the sessions spending 1on1 time with the goalies, working on individual skill development and giving them positive feedback & re-enforcement. During competition drills, instructors will stand near the goalies to giving them advise on a missed save or congratulate them on a big one, instruct them on their angles, position to the puck, stance and so much more.
